The Great Bus Hunt Catches a Wift

Today begins the trip, again, for it won't really end, and the location doesn't really matter, so it's more of a winding up again.

Mr. Farmer and I woke today for beer, and there was much rejoicing, after to much rejoicing, we realized that we should get down to the planning phase. Step 1 was... well for today step one was find a bus. Farmer had been scouting the yellow fiends at work and have about 15 locations which we would test. He used post it notes - I decided these should be Excelized:

Which brought Farmer to start calling people on his iphone, and the dog Christian started barking, and it was good. We contacted Mike (or Glenn) in Elijay, and Farmer decided he enjoyed him enough to go up there Tuesday, and talk buses. Then We called White county Ga, and two people in Atlanta. Atlanta is convent, White county is not. I decided to demonstrate this to Farmer via a map of all the locations we knew buses would be hiding:

We began to discuss the weekend long trip we would have going to Knoxville, then over to Raleigh and camping, and maybe even driving the bus back. I had some commitments to take part in saturday and was thinking of blowing them off.

We made plans to see a Bus over by Atlanta university. 'Jackson," who was very nice but I still don't know if that was his first or last name, was selling a 88 international, which Farmer and I inspected, drove, and bargained. I was stupid and didn't bring my Camera, so we decided to drink beer to make up for my mistake.

We saw the Castleberry Hill square which has iron art of rabbit dogs and soilders on the way to 'No Mas' where we had beer, and chips, and tried to organize the bus on a napkin with square nacos as items like; couches, kegorators, the bathroom, and well.. everything else.

Then We went to my place, and Farmer got a call from another guy about a bus in Marietta. I took my Camera this time.
Shane Let us drive a little further than Jackson- but the bus was slightly shorter for us 6'+ people.

So we sniffed out two buses, and came up with some thoughts (mostly on a napkin):

*We need wood, and lots of it, 2/4's ply, big, small, everything: For rooms/maybe a bunk bed, tables, and room separators

*Paint, mostly the green kind for the outside of the bus, but also some of the inside kinda for the windows which we're going to black out

*a small refrigerator

*Railing/ a latter, for the on top deck- which we will design

* a sink for the waters

*some kind of urine holding device

*an RV long cycle batter or two (Farmer knows more about this than I do)

*an extra tire

* projector?

*a pull out RV shelter thingy!

*Love :(

Plan is for Farmer to go up to Elijay on Tuesday, talk to whoever this Glen guy is, look at Busses, then make the call on w/e we're doing. acquire cash, and have the bus by this weekend! Enter re build phase (which basically means I get to strip bolts for two or three days, then blast music in the bus while it's at ORGT or Millers)
