The Bus keeps getting better and better. Its hard to even imagination how it used to look with nothing in it but seats. The ClubHouse now comes with walls, lights, surround sound stereo usually blasting 90's classic rock or folk music (all essential when planning a trip across the county), we've got carpet, a fridge, bunk beds, benches, tables, couch .... it really has become the party spot. EVERY night (except for tornado night) people have flocked to the clubhouse. We get to hang out with random Homepark residents till literally 3am. My favorite is trying to describe to Papa Johns where to deliver the pizza "ya, I said bus. Its a big school bus, you wont miss it, just knock."
Today is Cinco De Mayo which I'm sure will bring plenty of surprises to the bus- margaritas, Mexican beer, and pinatas will just be the start.
And tomorrow night is the BIG LAUNCHING PARTY. right there on Lynch street. So come one come all. This clubhouse is EPIC!! and the trip hasn't even started yet. And oh, the launching party is a fundraiser for gas for our trip. So if ya wouldn't mind paying for the beer you'll be drinking, that would be really awesome.
