You have attained a crucial Item for your quest now proceed to the next location on the map

Thanks to banks being open at 9am ,Andrew Huang and his BoA account, and Farmers smile ( oh and Matt Marcus and Kyle Hiddelson In the pick up) the is now a bus. It goes 45 without shaking, has a stop sign, and beeps when it backs up. Awesome!

Kyle and myself took an hour Or three and removed the seats with axle grinders, the bolts where pretty much stripped. Then we began to take out the floor. It was something of a long process and I'm thinking of a way to install a stop motion camera While we work, which I just bought on my iPhone.

Later Emily and farmer showed up and we had a pow wow on how we should go about this week, some of the equipment and items which well need to make this bus com together over the next two months. Besides plywood floors we need people. Five to six more to be exact. Were working on the mechanical, the electrical is in Farmers capable hands, I'll be doing most or the basic ground work and acquiring tools and or parts ( couches and sinks). But we need people with different ideas and hopes and dreams.

The plan right now is to drive out to Seattle and them back to ga over about a months period. That is completely dependent on who's coming. There are some prospects along the way, there are even some who could to back from the west coast to Cali, but noe that one major hurtle has been jumped it time to start dashing for the goal (and what we make of it). So I'm reaching out to anyone who's interested, even if they don't know what they're getting into :)

Here's the video from today, to get a sense of the bus, and some of the work we did! :)

  1. I wish I could help out working on your bus! This looks like a great project. Aaron and I did Atlanta to Seattle in about 6 months and still felt rushed trying to see everything. We were living in a Subaru Outback and crashing friends' couches though, so the bus should be way more comfy. We just upgraded to a pickup truck with a bed shell for a little more space for our drive back across the country starting next week (Colorado to Michigan in a little over a month this time). We probably won't be back to Atlanta until the fall. Take more time if you can because there is a ton to see!
